Alcohol

The risks and potential health benefits associated with alcohol is often a bit confusing. That's natural, given that the evidence supporting moderate alcohol use in healthy adults isn't certain.Researchers know very little about the benefits or risks of moderate drinking for healthy adults. Almost all studies of life-style factors, including food, exercise, caffeine, and alcohol, rely on patient recall and honest reporting of lifestyle over the course of many years. The results of these studies might suggest that two factors could be connected to each other, but it is not necessarily that one causes the other. The possibility that alcohol may have a positive effect on health might mean that people with good health are more likely to participate in social activities and drink moderate amounts of alcohol. But, the advantages of alcohol might not be applicable to all. In fact, the latest dietary guidelines make it clear that one shouldn't begin drinking or drink more often due to potential health benefits. Many find that the benefits of drinking alcohol do not outweigh the risks. Eliminating alcohol is the best option.
